Nha Trang Beaches

Nha Trang’s main draw is its beaches. The city is blessed with numerous pristine beaches. Out of all the beaches in Nha Trang, the most popular beach has to be Tran Phu Beach. This beach is easily accessible and is famous for its beautiful promenade and nightlife. Another beach that needs to be mentioned is Bai Dai Beach. Located a few kilometers south of Nha Trang city, the beach is known for its clear blue waters, clean beaches, and resorts. Long Son Pagoda

Overlooking Nha Trang city is a gleaming white statue of the sitting Buddha. Known as Long Son Pagoda, this Buddhist temple is one of the biggest attractions in Nha Trang. It was built in the 19th century before being destroyed and then rebuilt in its current location on the foothill of Trai Thuy Hill in the 1900s. The temple at the base of the hill is an example of Taoist architecture with its ornate statues of mythical creatures. The steps that lead to the giant 24 meters sitting Buddha statue are lined with topiaries and more statues of Buddha including a reclining Buddha statue as well as a giant bell tower.

Po Nagar Cham Towers

Take a peek into Nha Trang’s rich history at the Po Nagar Cham Towers. One of the oldest monuments in Vietnam. It was built between the 7th and 12th centuries by the Cham people who once ruled over major parts of Vietnam. The Cham people were exceptional builders and none can attest to that better than the Po Nagar Towers. The intricately carved towers are made from sandstone with the tallest of the towers reaching 28 meters. Out of the original 8 towers that were built, only 4 remain standing. The towers are a place of worship and you are expected to cover up and remove your shoes before you enter.

Vinpearl Land

Vietnam’s own Disneyland, Vinpearl Land is a chain of amusement parks that can be found throughout Vietnam, including Nha Trang. Opened in 2006, the park features a variety of rides, a water park, castles, resorts, restaurants, and more. The park can be reached via ferry or the more popular Vinpearl cable car, the world’s longest cable car. Once inside the park, you can enjoy live performances, safaris, rides including a spin in one of the world’s biggest Ferris Wheel. The park is also home to a beautifully curated garden known as the Blooming Hill which features various flora from around the world.

Ba Ho Waterfall

Located around 20km north of Nha Trang in the dense forests is the majestic Ba Ho Waterfall. It is made up of three cascading waterfalls that fall into pools that you can swim in. All the waterfalls are accessible. The lowest waterfall is the most accessible while the other two require a good deal of hiking. Ba Ho Waterfall is a popular picnic spot among locals who flock there during the weekend to relax and enjoy the waterfall and the lush natural scenery surrounding it.

Dam Market

If you want to experience the local culture of Nha Trang, head to Dam Market. It is one of the biggest and busiest markets in the city. Housed in a 2 story building the market offers visitors an array of items including souvenirs, handicrafts, organic produce, and fresh seafood. You can also try out Nha Trang specialties like grilled fermented pork roll, mini rice flour pancakes, or even rice vermicelli noodles at one of the many food stalls there.
