Beaches

The first thing people think of when they hear ‘Nha Trang’ is the beach. The city is famous for its endless stretches of coastline. Around 6km long. The beaches are clean with clear blue waters making it a perfect place for relaxing and playing in the water. You can also take part in a variety of watersports like scuba diving, kite surfing, parasailing, and more. Some of the most famous beaches include Bai Dai beach, Jungle beach, Nhu Tien Beach, Hon Chong Beach, etc.

History

Nha Trang has a long history dating back to the Champa Kingdom or 3rd-century era which is still evident today especially from the remnants of the ancient Po Nagar Cham Temples. This temple complex dates back to the 8th and 12th centuries. Besides ancient kingdoms, Nha Trang has seen its fair share of colonial rule which can be seen from the Nha Trang catholic church which was built by the French in the 19th century.

Cuisine

Being a coastal city, it comes as no surprise that Nha Trang has plenty of amazing seafood. Also, like every other place in Vietnam, even Nha Trang has its own specialty like fermented pork roll called nem nuong, bo ne or grilled beef, bun cha ca- a noodle dish with jellyfish, and steamed sailfish.

Nha Trang is home to one of the most famous amusement parks in the entire country, Vinpearl Land.
