Ao Vua Tourist Area once a wild and dense valley, has undergone an incredible development journey since the mid-1980s. Discovering its tourism potential in 1986, Ao Vua witnessed the birth of tourism services from Suoi Hai Seafood Company in 1988, marking the beginning of a new era.
Huong Rung Hotel, established in 1993, and Ba Vi Tourism Company, established in 1994, laid a solid foundation for the development of tourism in the area. A major turning point occurred in 1999 with the decision to go public, leading to the establishment of Ao Vua Joint Stock Tourism Company.

From 2006, the company expanded into other fields such as construction and irrigation, and changed its name to Ao Vua Construction and Tourism Joint Stock Company. By 2007, the company became a 100% privately-owned joint stock company and was renamed Ao Vua Joint Stock Company. In 2008, the company merged with other companies, emphasizing a strategy of sustainable development.
Today, Ao Vua is not only a famous tourist destination but also a symbol of development and innovation, managing an area of 128.3 hectares, including a special-use forest and tourism area.
